RainTracker - Daily Weather Gauge App Reviews

Does the job. Needs an small but very helpful feature

After my yard died last year, I was determined to water my lawn this year. I have a rain gauge that tells me if it has rained enough to forgo watering, but does not tell me the rain by week. Your yard needs around "1.5 inches of water a week to stay healthy. This app helps me log the rain by day. I would really like it if on the week report it could give me the total by week. Small effort change, but a big help! That would be worth another star. As for those who thought this app would somehow know how much it rained at Their house....... Interesting.

Misleading.

You have to enter your own rain info. It does not find the info for you. Useless.

Deleted immediatley

Worst app, wish i could get a refund. I would give it zero stars if possible.

Love it

This is the app I have been looking for. It does exactly what it says - it tracks the rainfall amounts you input. Please please please make this app for iPad.

Very nice

Great app. Would like to see yearly total also.

Good

I take local weather bureau info and input it. Why not tie it in automatically? It is important to see trends and compare those trends with same time in previous years.

Great tool

Ive been tracking rainfall for sometime now and this app just makes it easier to track and access the information.

Great

I have been tracking rain fall for years on paper and I believe this will make reviewing much better in the future.

Must enter own rainfall

This app is not what I expected. You have to enter your own rainfall. The reason I wanted an app was to tell me the amount of rainfall.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

I expected that this app used standard weather info available on line to track rainfall history. It is totally useless. You have to enter everything yourself. It doesnt do a thing. What a waste of a dollar. My fault for not reading the reviews. I want my dollar back! Doesnt even deserve the one star I had to give it.

THIS IS FOR LOGGING - NOT WEATHER

As a storm spotter, NOAA has given me a rain guage and expects phone-in reports when our weather gets really nasty. I forget to write down what I saw when I empty the rain guage. This is perfect. Since I carry my iPod with me I can go to my rain guage several times and not have to fire up my computer to enter the readings. It is very good when I am at the harbor (fishing town on the ocean) or even inland. I can record the weather as I see it instead of trying to remember when I get home. I would have had the app a long time ago if I had thought of searching for one.

Upgrade

Please upgrade app so it does this automatically.

Rainfall App

Well worth the money for me. Instead of writing down my own rainfall readings they can now be recorded on this app. Rainfall amounts are totaled and available for historical reference. The app does exactly what the developers say it will do. It is ridiculous for anyone to give this a rating of less than 3 stars, but the ones that did most likely cant read.

Terrible

This is simply to keep track of your own notes. I need a rain tracker that tells me the amount of rain we got, not how much I put into it.

Always read reviews!!

I also thought weather service data would be utilized NOT that Id be entering it myself every day. Save your money if youre not truly committed.

Should be better

Considering that it is the only rain app available there is much room for improvement. Set date for morning after, change range of graph etc.

Grower/Farmer 30+ years

This app has great potential but needs improvement. Range of graph should be adjustable, should be noted that data is from the previous 24 hours, should have more than 1 location, with ability to overlay graphs and compare rainfall with crop yields, fertility levels, ect. I have more ideas if contacted.

Sugar beet farmer

We get approximately 22 inches of moisture per year so every hundredth of an inch is important. I have been recording the rainfall on paper for many years. How come you can enter amounts in hundredths but totals are set to tenths of an inch? Also the charts are useless unless you live in the tropics. I like the app but would like these improvements

raintracker

It is just a note pad. Not tied to any database. I already deleted it! Where can I get a refund?

Rip off

I already have a notepad. There is no value to having this app. I want a refund!
